The dowtown Garland Square is just around the corner. The square features the Plaza Theater:


And a building from the turn of the 20th century is also undergoing restoration:


One of the best performing arts centers in the metroplex is across Fifth Street.


Several good restaurants are a short walk away. Mockingbird Station, Downtown Dallas, the zoo, even Ft. Worth are also just a short step away on DART.
