"Go to first new post" doesn't work in Safari

I'm using Apple Safari 3.1.2 on OS X 10.5.5. Clicking the "Go to first new post" button will take me to the correct thread page with the anchor in the URL but doesn't go to the anchor on that page. I don't have this problem with any other forum I visit, only this one.

Any idea what causes this and can we get it fixed?

I have the same problem. I'll try it in Firefox later and see if the result is any different.

It works for me in Safari, but then again I am using the Safari 4 developer preview. It is possible to find it for download if you wish, and also it is much faster than Safari 3!

Just tested it in Safari 3.1.2 on OSX 10.5.5, and it worked just fine for me.

    Weird.

I noticed it is appending &conly= at the end of the URL. If I remove this tag, it works fine. But if I paste the tag back in, no joy. Why is conly and is there any way to prevent it from appending it?

It's there for me, too, and works fine.
