    TO a Cowboy?

I think it is genius. What do the pokes have to lose? We are an average team and just signed the best offensive player in the National F League. Andy Reid is a pussy and lets players run his team. TO knows what he is getting into with Parcells, and will be on a short leash. It can only help the Cowboys. Worst case, we cut him halfway through the season.
    the dude abides.

This moves stinks. This proves that it doesn't matter what kind of person you are, as long as you are good, people will give millions. This is a lot of the problem with America today. It's about putting your time and energy into researching players and rooting for teams who really don't care about anything other than money. It is sad that people can know the entire roster of team A, but not the vice president.

But I'd better stop before I get fired.

He is the best WR, but it's debateable whether he is the best offensive player (regardless of position) even if he wasn't a headcase and an a@@hole. That being said, even if he was the best offensive player regardless of position, the WR position is far less important than a left tackle, QB, or RB.

BTW, I've been behind the signing as long as we didn't get in a bidding war. That being said this is still a risk..a big one. Based on the preliminaries I've seen of the contract, it looks similiar to the one that TO whined about in Philly (large up front, little in upcoming yearS).

Wow! With so many people sure that TO is going to destroy the Dallas Cowboys, I was wondering if I could get winning numbers to the next lotto jackpot. I mean we all know that it is not going to work out right, or do we?

I don't know if this has happened to anyone out there, but when you have had your "way of life" taken from you life begins to look a little different. Especially, when life does not afford you the opportunity to move from one team to the next and not feel anything as a result. I have to believe that during this time he has been humbled into a more realistic realm of reality and things will be different for him now. So before we go off and state our opinions as fact let's be reminder that the only way to know if our opinions are fact or fiction is to see him play this year. Or if you’re still so sure, then I have a dollar waiting on those six winning lotto numbers for Wednesday.

Hey, at least he won't get leveled by another Cowboy or booed by the audience for running to the STAR and posing/dancing on it after a touchdown now. . . : D

With as bad as the Cowboys are now, what do they have to lose by signing TO?

If you can show me a lotto that has trends like the long list of T.O. I'll do just that. Let's list off the things off the top of my head.

As a third round draft picked from a SWAC school, said he was better than Jerry Rice and first rounder JJ Stokes.

Publically criticized Jeff Garcia and Steve Mariuchi after a loss

Distracts team by running for California Gov, fails to get on ballot

Alienated team so much, clamored to be let go

After missing free agency deadlined, made a public outcry that the man was out to get him

After a trade between 49ers and Ravens was apporved, T.O. said he would never play for the Ravens and criticized the Ravens QB, whom he had never played with before

Was traded to Phgiladelphia, to the only team he said he wanted to play for.

Told Playboy after trade that Jeff Garcia was gay

After players union and agency tell T.O. the Eagles contact was bad, he signs, taking huge up front money, worth 9 mil.

Had a relatively clean year, with minor controversy, capped with a Super Bowl in which he played hurt

After SB loss, publically claims Donovan Mcnabb wasn't conditioned for game.

Tells Eagles he deserves more money, Eagles say no

After many public squabbles with ownership, media and coaches, TO is suspended from training camp.

Still continuing public squabbles well into the season, with several major incidents with his QB and coach, TO is suspended indefinately, after ruining arguably the NFL's best run and most tight-knit franchises.

If you can find lotto numbers with this kind of trend, please tell me.

^I sure would like to see the Cowboys win the superbowl again, before leaving Texas Stadium. Maybe it'll help...?

Tell that to Lawrence Phillips, Maurice Clarett, Ryan Leaf, and Marcus Vick. None changed (jury is still out on Vick but based on family sources I have, he's still an a-hole).

BTW, TO's way of life will not change. He has a ton of money left to spend.

    1. In today's NFL, teams frequently go from 5-11 to playoff contender in one year. So as bad as they were last year really doesn't determine how good/bad they will be this year.

    2. They could alienate fans much like they did in the '90s (players like Erik Williams, Leon Lett, and Michael Irving getting in trouble gave the team a black eye).

BTW, I still like the move...mainly because TO is not Randy Moss. TO always shows up to play. However, it's still a risk due to all of his other shananigans (although, I do like the sharpie and the pom-pom dancing).

Well, he certainly has backed that talk up on the field. He's one of the most dominant WRs I've ever seen. JJ Stokes was a pretty good college WR..lol.

I just hope TO's ready to run a bunch of quick slant routes and fade routes because Bledsoe usually only has about three seconds to get the ball to him before he's sacked.

I think I heard Tom Landry rolling when I was out visiting my father's grave at Hillcrest Cemetery.

I'm excited about the pick up. A real threat at WR.

Does anyone know how much money they still have left to spend this year in FA?
Listen to the Dividing Line, Pirate Christian Radio, CARM, White Horse Inn and RTS University the most nowadays.....

All of this and yet he is still a great player that plays for the Dallas Cowboys. I think that it is better he play for us than against us.

Not sure I agree with that. The Cowboys beat Philly twice last year with T.O on the payroll.
