Sure did get quiet in here. They're not done yet, but I would feel a lot better about this series if they had won game 5.

It seems that after each game we win, I feel like we'll take the series easily, and after each game we lose, I feel like we're going to get our asses handed to us.

It will be very difficult to win two in a row against Phoenix, but we can do it. We had last night's game won.

How to do the Heimlich Maneuver:

A choking victim can't speak or breathe and needs your help immediately. Follow these steps to help a choking victim:

From behind, wrap your arms around the victim's waist.
Make a fist and place the thumb side of your fist against the victim's upper abdomen, below the ribcage and above the navel.
Grasp your fist with your other hand and press into their upper abdomen with a quick upward thrust. Do not squeeze the ribcage; confine the force of the thrust to your hands.
    Repeat until object is expelled.

Don't slap the victim's back. (This could make matters worse.)

Thanks Mavs for the 2004-2005 Season! With all of the changes in personell this season (players and coaches), I expected another first round exit. However, you proved me wrong. Use you off season to gel and come back stronger next season. Go Mavericks!!! 2006 NBA Champions!

I can't wait for a Miami/Dallas championship series. It'll be a American Airlines Arena vs. American Airlines Center series!

It was an awesome game! I was getting nervous after game 3, when everyone was saying that the series was already over, and then the Mavs get blown out in game 4. Even tho last night was a blow-out for the Mavs, they still need to buckle down and put the Suns away now. No big-heads until the fat lady sings.

Hey tamtagon..that describes me perfectly this year..growing up in SA, the Spurs are my team and always will be. However, I'm happy for my 2nd favorite team to make it to the Finals. They played well the other night..here's hoping they finish the Suns off in the next game.

Not that it seems anyone on this board cares, but the Mavs are going to the finals for the first time ever! After being down 19 points, they came back to beat the Suns tonight and advance to play Miami for the NBA Championship!

I'm down in Austin tonight, and watched the last half of the game in a sports bar off 6th street. The fans down here were really whooping it up, it was just like being at home. Congrats Mavs!

Cheers to all MFFLs out there, especially those that have been here for awhile and can recall the near misses in the 80s, and the Dark-Age (1990-1999 winning percentage under 30%).

I don't go to many games because I've always thought I get a better seat in from of my television. I've watches so many of those games in the 90's. I remember watching those games when the biggest win of the year was beating the Chicago Bulls. Of course, the bulls were playing down to the level of Dallas. I always suckered myself into believing we could make into the playoffs, even when we stunk. I just had to believe.

I just never could figure out how a team could be so bad. It was just embarrassing.

And no matter how bad the Mavericks were, I still watched more wins with the mavericks than I watched an innings in baseball games. I hate baseball.

I hate Phoenix and the ass kissing TNT crew.

Phoenix could do no wrong, no matter how bad they sucked in 2nd halfs. I love Nash and I hate that I hate Phoenix, because he is there, but there is nothing but ass kissing for Phoenix. They acted like they couldn't give Dallas credit. They didn't even talk about the Mavericks. They just kissed the butt of Phoenix after the game. I hated listening to the crew. Maybe it is just I'm such a huge Maverick fan, but the Suns will get killed the same way next year, because Dallas will be even better next year. People forget that Avery is installing his system in a 3 year phase. In 3 years, the system should be fully in place.

Watch out Phoenix. Mike D'Antoni sucks and is whinier than Duncan. I can't wait to kick Phoenix's ass next year too and I will love it even more, except for seeing Nash losing.

I'm pretty anxious to see the environment down there this afternoon & tomorrow. The guys on the ticket said it was already getting pretty wild with all the media getting to town... should be fun.

I'll probably stroll over there and get some pre-game pictures tomorrow night. Can't afford to actually go to the game, why not join the pre-party!

I love the question Corby asked Shaq and then his reaction. You've got to hear it, if you haven't. Its the last question of the interview.
