And an update: "On Monday Oct. 19, at 4:58pm Muni reports Metro Service has resumed, but the Van Ness Station remains closed due to severe flooding. Metro trains will by pass Van Ness Station until it reopens and passengers should expect residual delays. The Mason St cable cars have been shut down due to flooding. Motor coach shuttles are being provided for the cable cars."
