And really quick, before we get started, I have to say... Fair Park is arguably one of the coolest places
in Dallas after dark. I've lived across the street on and off since 2000, and I've never really had the
chance to enjoy the place at night, with all of the architecture lit.... The Hall of State is absolutely
magnificent... Unfortunately, some equipment was blocking the view and I wasn't able to grab a
shot... But not to worry...there will be plenty of chances in the upcoming weeks..

I'm betting we'll start to see all kinds of stuff happening at Fair Park. The esplanade is going to become a major special event destination as companies, organizations and private individuals rent the exhibition halls for parties. Anyone who's ever been to a big company Holiday party (open bar) can imagine just how much fun the party would be when there's a other parties going on in neighboring buildings. Get the new fountains turned on, and the mingling becomes world class, well, um, the mingling might not be world class, but the setting will be.

Went and shot Big Tex this afternoon before this storm rolled in....sounds like Dorn did, too.....

I went this morining while they were putting him up I agree with Justin. fair park is such a cool place to shoot. There are so many great photo opps out there. I will be spending alot of time out there in the coming weeks. I spent most of my time aound Big Tex today.
