"...And we'll have eight white-sand beach volleyball courts and a hangout area," [Skyler Davis] says. "And there will be a pool and palm trees -- an oasis right in the middle of Dallas, with competitive volleyball." He's also planning a "Caribbean-style" restaurant and bar, and promises delivery service 'round Expo Park and Deep Ellum "once we get up and running."

I was wondering what was being built there... That was the staging site for the concrete panels on the new science museum (I believe), so I thought the structure they were building there might be temporary. interesting.

not sure why it didn't do better, but I suppose I never went there either. I guess the lake is the attraction in that area. People just don't see the need to stop off somewhere else so close to the lake. I wonder how that property could re-brand itself to be successful.

I heard that the people that own the "Katy Trail Ice House" plan to open it up and I hope connect it to the Santa Fe Trail

Sounds like an amazing money maker. get the AVP to come through and do a special Dallas invitational. It has potential.
