100 Most Congested Roadway Segments in Texas

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has released this year’s list of the 100 most congested roadways and the top three are in Dallas County.

40 out of the 100 are DFW issues. Love the Lemmon Ave. one:

91 Lemmon Ave. Dallas Inwood Road (=to=>) N Haskell Road 96,358 (annual hrs. of delay/mile) 290,039 (annual hrs. of delay) $7.11 million (annual cost of delays) 1.25 (TX Congestion Index) 1.29 (Commuter Stress Index) NCTCOG

Rank 91 -- Lemmon Ave between Inwood Road and N Haskell Road
Currently in the Metropolitan Transportation Plan:
    Planned for this route:
    No planned improvement

    Planned for parallel routes:
    N/A

    Planned for Transit:
    N/A

So even though there's costs of delay and stress on Lemmon, there's no cure. Sounds like Lemmon will be a regular contestant on this list for years to come?? :-)
