Mansfield ISD Center for the Performing Arts

Tonight WFAA ran a follow up to a story about subcontractors not paying payroll taxes in an effort to undercut others bidding on projects. Since it's made the news and I took a photo a few weeks ago, I figured I might as well post about it. http://www.wfaa.com/news/investigate...125451023.html

The Mansfield ISD Center for the Performing Arts is scheduled to open late Spring of 2012. The Center includes two distinct venues; the Claude Cunningham Performance Hall and the John Washington Professional Development Center.

    Looks good!

Garland ISD opened a similar facility a few years ago. I wonder if we'll see a shift from theaters being built within junior and senior high schools for more of these consolidated venues.
