If you ironed out the mountains, Colorado would be bigger than Texas.

That's one I've never heard before, and a good one. A few times observed packs of vacationing Texans in California, Georgia and New York, and most of those times I wanted to tell them to shut up because they were embarassing me, a proud Texan.

I found surprised faces when I told people in Canada I was from Texas. They said I didn't seem like it (or sound like it). I guess that Texans have that kind of reception that Americans tend to get abroad, though I suppose Canadians know more about people from states in the US than overseas so...

I dont see why People in Colorado and New Mexico get mad at us, we drive their winter market going up their to ski every winter.

Correct me if I am wrong but isn't Alberta and Manitoba like Texas? Oil, cattle, and conservative.

WHY would anyone hate Toronto? When I was there, it seemed like a fantastic city. People were friendly, and there was a certain air to that better (albeit not perfect) zoning they had going on up there.
