I passed by a big apartment lot on the north side of 635, between Coit and Hillcrest.
It is fenced off and has some demo trucks on it.
The name is Valley Oaks Apartments?
I searched to see if there was anything on the board about it, I couldn't find any.
Address is 7373 Valley View ln
Anybody knows what is going on with this?
It faces 635 and is in a very visible location (75 to Preston)

Trammell Crow to redevelop old apartments in North Dallas

Apartment developer Trammell Crow Residential is working on plans to redevelop a group of aging apartment complexes along LBJ Freeway in Far North Dallas.
The real estate company recently got preliminary approval from the city of Dallas to replat the old apartment communities, which now have more than 300 units at LBJ and Valley View Lane. Tax records show that the existing buildings were constructed in the late 1960s and '70s.
The rental communities on the north side of LBJ (Interstate 635) are near White Rock Creek and close to major employment centers.
Real estate analysts say that the developer is likely to replace the older rental units with a more up-to-date project. The developer has contracted to purchase the properties.
Crow Residential officials said Monday that planning for the 8.7-acre property is in the very early stages.
"We are a ways away from being able to talk about the project," said Darren Schackman, Crow Residential's senior managing director.

Drove by yesterday.
It seems they are going full blast, a couple of floors off the ground now.
Anybody has any renderings?
