View Full Version : Amesbury Apartments slated for rezoning(Milton and Amesbury)

Well It looks like the days are number my current apartment home, again!!! I think we are going to get a house this time, First Timbercreek, the The Plaza and Now Amesbury. rezoning signs went up today on the property MF 1 to MF2

I woill post the signs in a bit.

These apartment are outdated and need to go, it still sucks I have move again, just don't know when.

Whats going to be built to replace amesbury scott? Gosh i hope we get more multy-family projects there. NO MORE NEW SINGLE FAMILY CONSTRUCTION!! DALLAS NEEDS DENSITY NOW!!!

^Well, I'm assuming since he said it was going to MF1 to MF2 that means higher density - correct?

Scott, I feel for you.
The same thing happened to me twice while living in The Village.
I felt like I had to buy soon or risk being priced out of the area.

I lived in that place when I first moved here in the early 90s -- 3 br, 2 bath, 1500 sq ft, 550/mo. What a steal! The "turret dining room" one on the left corner as you first approach the place from University on Amesbury. Wasn't sorry to leave 3 years later. They changed owners and it went downhill fast.

I was told that when they were first built, they were owned by the Village's LPC.

Thank Lakeridge, I was hope to satay in eastDallas but the property is too valuable now houses are out of our price range in this area now. We may have to move as far away as Irving.

Wow, the dominos are falling. I wonder if the Village Apts will have to accelerate the replacement of their older complexes.
