Bob's Steak and Chop

Bob's Steak and Chop House- a pre and post Texas/OU party location- is closing next Friday, October 5 for a "private party"......... Anyone know why? I've had some friends call me all pissy about it and I have no idea what's going on, but I know that they are NOT taking any reservations for Friday night because of somebody (must be pretty important) who booked the entire restaurant.

Does anyone have an idea? Inquiring minds want to know... Thanks.

Is this going to be the site of one of those events where they get all those football players in there and see who can eat the most of a cow for charity?

Dunno. Sounds good though. All I do know is that someone's rented the place out and on one of their busiest nights and I can't get the "what for".
