What do you see?
For me, I see the Camden Farmer's Market pool. To my right, I see a vacant field and Central/Pearl. Beyond that, I see the Dallas Farmer's Market.

I call my view "master planned wilderness". The adjacent land is owned by the Corp of Engineers.
There used to be a huge pond until the beaver dam broke last week from the heavy rains.

White Rock Lake. Since there are not many homes with this kind of view and I do not want crazy people showing up at my house, this is a big as I going to make it.

The people at their desks immediately across the street. We should ask them what they get to see from their window.

I like to think of it as reflecting a diversity of views. Except for that stupid "INFORM" cosmetic-surgery ad paper. That's just f'n ridiculous.
My bedroom window (in Mesquite now) has a view of a burned-out medical office, right across the parking lot. I don't know how long ago it went up in flames, but the apartment would have had a front-row seat -- assuming it wasn't evacuated. Oh, and you can see the 7-11 across the street, too.
The view in Dallas was a lot better. Out the window all you could see were the pre-fab buildings of the elementary school, but if you stepped out the front door of the flophouse you would find yourself in the shadow of downtown and in the lights of Methodist Hospital. Very cool.

The only thing that bothers me about the newspaper boxes is when drunk a-holes knock them over at 3am.
