Justin and all, you have to get down here and get some shots, you will be kicken your own arses if you don't, great places to get photos I am telling you
I will tell you this is one of the biggest single building demos I have ever photographed. It looks to be at least three city block long. to get the whole view I will Have to stitch panaoramic images sometime and show them Bill Nabors get this job, looks like they will be raking in the dough from all the scrap metal, literally tons of the stuff. I was was litereally dumbfounded and the size of this baby. Just unbelievable Just to look at. I was able to get some old shots of the cold storage doors and a shot or two of the old Fire hydrants and things, Main building is off Cadiz and Industrial The main building housed two liquor stores, Sigels and Midway Liquor. There is even an old sign for the Midway liquor still upI got several shots of it. another neat thing in the area is another deep Ellum like Tunnel on Cadiz to Lamar This one was also built in 1930. the Old Light fixtures from that time still hang from the ceiling, they don't work, but I got some great shots of them. I took also a couple of photos of the Old Cadiz Pumping station, you can see the entire Alford demo up of the hill that overlooks 30.
Later
