you could have used it as your back up after you got your DSLR. I wouldn't have minded that.
I can still get you a good deal one to get you through.

Where exactly was all the geothermal activity..?

Thanks everyone for the compliments!
The geo-thermal activity was at a place called Waiotapu. It's billed as a geo-thermal wonderland, and I have to say I agree!
A separate 2- or 3 part thread really should have been created for that New Zealand post. Great photos.
Maybe I'll go ahead and do that if it's cool - I wasn't sure what the etiquette was for that kind of thing.

Man, those were some of the coolest picture ever - all of you guys. Ninjatune, I know the answer to some of this is just "raw talent", but I was wondering how you get that pastel look to many of your shots - particularly the blues and pinks.

2112: Not sure man... If you could give an example (actual photo) I might be able to give you a better answer. nothing special, i can tell you that.. I just shoot RAW, processing involves levels and unsharp mask... that's about it..

What happened to my post at the top of the page? Do we have post size limits?
I know it was a lot of pictures, but no one's seeing them if it's bundled up into a line of text - or am I missing something?

^ ppl can take that code and throw it into a reply box.. hit preview..
i'm assuming that’s the idea.. i haven't looked at the text yet.
there are no post limits, but 40 mbs in one post is a tad heavy whenever dealing with a 50 post per page layout. i don't think the page ever fully loaded for me... but as stated, they really deserve they're own two or three part series in the other photography forum... they’re just the tits…
