I have found an abandoned building that I am in love with. It is owned by TXU and everyone I have asked in the area of the building has said that it has been empty for years. Does anyone know how I could go about finding out if TXU would consider selling it?
TIA

I ended up finding a contact at TXU today and he informed that the building is used to store documents and has some other use at this time so it is not available. The building is at 115 Tyler Street (kind of a rough area) and the building has a ton of potential. I had looked at an old fire station across the street that could be awesome as well but it is owned by Grace Temple Baptist church and they are also not interested in selling. Oh well the search continues.

I think the building has a lot of potential but oh well. Would love to have it though.

I looked into that building a year ago and got the same answer. I offered them 180,000 so I guess it is worth more to them than that. I t would need at least 100,000 to make it livable.

I asked the chruch across the street about the fire station they own right there and they told it would take more than $500,000 to buy it. I was speechless.
