Hey Everyone,
I haven't been on this site in awhile - been fairly busy. I've now moved back to Dallas. Between missing my family and everything that's happening in the city I love, I couldn't stand not being here anymore.
Now, I'll get to the point: As some of you already know, I've been in the mortgage business in Phoenix for some time - although not working recently and living off the fruits of that successful position as a loan officer as well as some incredible real estate transactions in the HOT Phoenix metro market. Now I'm looking to get into something new.
Although I have an '02 MBA in Organizational Effectiveness, a 10-yr retail sales mgmt background, and now mortgage industry experience, I'm wanting to follow my passion: Urban Planning/Economic Development.
Since I don't have any experience in these fields (and only a simple working knowledge of them), I'm hoping that a local company or city will take me in at an entry-level position and help walk me through the steps. I look at this as a long-term career.
Not really certain how many varied career backgrounds you all possess, or how many individuals and connections you know in these fields, I'm hoping that at least one of you can lead me in the right direction of where to submit my resume, who to talk to, etc.
I appreciate you all taking the time to read this. Feel free to message me here or at the following email address if you have ANY information that could lead me in the right direction.
Thank you!
