I apologize for making this an entire thread on it's own, but I have a question about the way the City of Dallas does bond elections, and this forum is the best resource for any information in the Dallas area.

In a bond election, does the city of Dallas split up each provision of the bond election for voter approval ( i.e. rail - yes/no, library yes/no) or does the city include all the provisions in one giant package for one giant package. (i.e. rail + library - yes/no)? I hope that makes sense.

Thank yall in advance for any response.

Hm, nobody else has taken a crack at this, so I will. Others can jump in and correct me if I'm wrong.
The short answer is yes, the city lists various bond issues separately on the ballot. Last time, if I recall correctly, there were 17 separate issues up for a yes/no vote.
How things get grouped together or seperated out is part of the debate that goes on in council when proposing a bond package. Some clever grouping could be used to improve or hurt a project's chance of getting funded, but I think the council has been pretty above board about that in recent memory.
