Is there any industiral activity in that area...i can tell at one time it was an industrial district...but are any of the business still open..it looks abandoned from the freeway

yeahh i asked the guy and he told me...but the area im reffering to is east of sm wright freeway from oak cliff....like goin north on your right there is a big indutrial lookin thing.......but i checked out some areil photos on this site......and i noticed that east of the big railroad/industrial complex is what looks like some houses.....what is this neighborhood? are there families there...where would they go to school..maceo? is the area oak cliff or the grove...... i never knew or knew of anybody who lived over there and didnt even know it was populated..so i was just hopin someone on this site would know about the area

I don't think the Carbondale part of town is as fun as the home of the Salukis.
