Watching this new show called "Intervention". One of tonight's (premiere episode) druggies is Tommy, who lives on rooftops in Uptown Dallas and begs for change in downtown. Perfect example of upwardly mobile cokehead who has lost everything but still prowls the same neighborhood. He even points out his old townhouse which looked like State-Thomas. West Village in some shots.

OK, aside from all that ... some great shots of beautiful Dallas and fashionable Uptown. Dallas looks great in spite of the subject matter. And like a cool place to live and be. Sorry about the underbelly of the Dallas "clubhead" scene, but interesting nonetheless.

I caught that last night, and the shots did make Dallas look really good. There was a really good shot of Tommy waking up on the roof of a Deep Ellum or Farmers Market condo with the view of downtown right in front of him. It showed him wandering around State Thomas and I think robbing the convenience store near Allen and State.
