I know that many Texans don't consider their state to be part of the South, but for those of you who do or who at least acknowledge the close ties between Texas and the South, you might be interested in a new forum I created, Southern Skylines. Personally, I've always thought of Texas as being part of the South, particularly the eastern half, not only because Texas was part of the Confederacy during the Civil War, but for other reasons as well. Even Southern Living magazine includes Texas among the states it covers.
The forum is brand new, so there aren't many topics posted yet (only 2 so far), but hopefully activity will pick up as more people begin to discover it. So if anyone is interested, here's the link:

BTW, I'll be in Dallas next week. John Roberts is giving me a tour of Downtown Fort Worth on Friday, and I'll be exploring Dallas on my own on Wednesday and Thursday. Can't wait to see firsthand some of the Dallas projects I've been following on the Skyscraperpage Forum. I'll be sure to post any photos I take in Dallas here in this forum.
