Maybe I shouldn't let this bother me. But MSN CitySearch always excludes Dallas. Why is that? Could we possibly be worse that Harford or Raleigh? How can they have 50 cities in a list and conclude that Dallas/Ft.Worth shouldn't be there?

MSN city search dosen't exclude Dallas. Dallas simply dosen't participate in citysearch the way that other cities do.
I also noticed that Dallas dosn't come up on MSN's citysearch in the same way other cites do; I noticed this probably a year or two ago. I dug around through the site more and found a link to GuideLive.com
If you don't know GuideLive.com has been a metroplex entertainment website that has been around before MSN even existed.
Anyway, I was curious enough at the time, to email and ask GuideLive.com why they didn't come up on MSNs website like the other cities, and why I had to find a backroad interance to get information on Dallas.
They emailed me back, and stated that at that time they were considering joining with MSN and having them run the site for Dallas, but haven't made a decission.
Luckaly GuideLive is still running their own site, since it seems to be more complete and higher quality than the MSN info (big surprise)
I'm really surprised you would have such a reaction to Dallas not appearing on a paid advertizement page. If you fork over a few bucks to MSN and provide them with info for Hicksville MO. they will put it on their website.

I appreciate the info. I was simply curious about the omission. I don't really use that MSN portal much. I just happened to notice it yesterday.
I do have GuideLive bookmarked now, thanks.

I agree, since the link you are talking about is just to a poll, it dose seem odd that they would not include all major cities. Funny thing is, they will declare a winner without considering all posibilities. Of course it never claims to be a scientific/accurate poll.
Just to show how the tables can be turned, here is another website
nightguide.com/ (http://nightguide.com/)
wich includes the following NA cities
. Atlanta
· Cancun
· Chicago
· Dallas/Ft. Worth
· Denver
· Fort Lauderdale
· Las Vegas
· Miami
· New York
· Orlando
· Phoenix
· San Diego
I notice no Boston, San Francisco, or Los Angeles. Those places must suck. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)">
