Just came back from Atlanta today and i have noticed that the wide freeways of Atlanta. Every one of them is at least 6-7 lanes wide one way. I was wondering why Dallas/Ft worth doesn't build the freeways like that...maybe that way you have less congestions or a chance of less congestion? And btw...with all those wide freeways Atlanta's traffic still sucked.

Thank God Dallas doesnt have that kind of freeway is all I can say... That would make our sprawl even worse, I think. If traffic weren't such a problem, DART would have probably half hte ridership, if not less, that it currently does. We have highways, most notably central and parts of George Bush, That I think are still too wide. The wider the freeway, and the easier to drive, the more like LA Dallas becomes. I for one don't want that to happen...
