Lol, drummy - not exactly a road trip. I traveled by water.

However, from the 6th-22nd of September - I'm doing a road trip from Seattle to Connecticut. Then fly back to da Eggo.

I was out in SD back in January. Not a bad place to escape the cold N. Texas days!!! In fact, it may be as close to paradise on earth as you can get . Here's a few pics I got while out there:

Cool! I took several photos and panos from nearly the same spot as your last photo yesterday - on Coronado.

Awesome! You're talking about the end of the parking lot there in between the tourist shopping center and those really nice looking condos overlooking the bay? Yeah, I wish I could have caught a sunny day for that photo (I must have visited SD on their one cloudy day a year!!!).

I get to go back to SoCal in November and hopefully back down to SD. I may be stuck in Orange County, but I'm going to try and sneak back down that way. I know I'll be in Palm Springs for a few days, so at least it won't all be a wash! Have fun out there!!!

^The giant photo is from Fort Rosecrans Nat'l Cem. on Point Loma overlooking the Naval Submarine Base - as well as the Naval Air Station North Island on Coronado. And, of course - da bay.
