I think its a drug ad representation. The two buildings on each side are people who don't take drugs. and the monstrocity in the middle is what happens to you when you do take drugs. Alot of empty useless space between the ears.

Hey, I can picture a few of those in downtown Dallas... Or just enlarge it 5x and call it the Winspear Opera House.
