According to DFWinfo.com, the Platinum Corridor of North Dallas (DNT north of I-635) will continue its explosive growth over the next 30 years. They forecast the growth in the employment sector for Farmers Branch (the city where most of the development is taking place) as follows:
2000 - 75,013
2005 - 100,915
2010 - 119,066
2015 - 147,381
2020 - 156,222
2025 - 156,727
2030 - 156,798 (The city appears to approach buildout by 2020..)
If you go here (http://www.emporis.com/en/wm/ci/bu/sk/li/?id=102743&bt=2&ht=2&sro=1), you can see some of the proposed projects listed for the city. The big Centura development is already coming along- I think that Towers I, II, and III are already in place. I can't tell how much growth will occur in the Dallas sector of the Platinum corridor because there isn't a specific set of data on NCTCOG's website. anyone have any info on any other new developments in the area?
