I've here West End, West Village, and Deep Ellum considered districts of Dallas. How many districts are there that you know of and what are the names and locations.
Im curious because really until coming on this board i really didn't think about districts of Dallas or Fort Worth, even though i have probably used those terms.. So that is why i am curious.
Im also curious about Fort Worth.

. Preston Hollow
. Turtle Creek
. State-Thomas
. Deep Ellum
. Exposition Park
. Old East Dallas
. The M Streets
. Greenway Park
Anyone else?

How large and what qualifies an area as a district?

Can't forget Hollywood and Santa Monica as near White Rock. There are tons around the city. Just check the real estate pages and you'll see them. They are basically divided as old suburbs that have been annexed.

I would add Mountain Creek in far southwest Dallas. It includes a business park, several new sub-divisions, and lots of hills.

the Cedar's area - just south of DT... I'm guessing that area is still reffered to as that name (Southside on Lamar, American Beauty Mill).
