well the truth of the matter is the new no cell phone while driving law is fairly pointless, but itll get some soccer moms and other such people. i was reading on another website that did a test of what people did most for a car. they installed a video camera and took 9 hours of driving footage. they left out the first 3 hours incase people were nevous, and looked at the next 6 and it turns out that people dont use there cell phones much in comparison to radio, eating, and talking to passengers. if you ask me, the city just wants some money, but i hope they get it! -nick

not many people know of it and i just read it from the state's site in a link from an email. you can only talk without a hands free kit while stopped and can be ticketed for non compliance. pretty stupid wouldnt you say?

I think cell phone usage is crazy... I get annoyed enough having to answer a phone at home, let alone while I'm in a theatre, a restaurant or driving.

One movie I saw recently had a woman using her phone while sitting on the loo... if you can imagine something so tasteless. She eventually dropped it, accidentally, and flushed it down...

Folks, if you have an emergency that you need a cell phone to handle, pull over and stop your car. Otherwise, you'll have half your attention on the conversation and the other half in not running into me.

that was a bill that was filed, but like thousands of others it never passed. That e-mail is a hoax
